Students can receive in-person tutoring (math, science, and more) on the Mount Vernon and Whidbey Island campuses.

Tips for students
Get the most out of a session by bringing any textbooks, class notes, and the specific assignment you’re working on. Need a space to study or relax between classes? The Mount Vernon Campus tutoring center (Lewis Hall, Room 221) is open from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Study groups are welcome, too.
Tips for faculty
Don't see your course? If you have a strong student who could tutor other students in your course, encourage them to fill out the Tutor Interest Form on the bottom left of this page.
Online Tutoring
Can’t get to a tutoring center for help with STEM courses? Starting the second week of each term, enrolled SVC students may also access free, 24/7 online tutoring through the Western eTutoring Consortium.
This statewide service offers support in subjects such as Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
