Scholarship Opportunity

(Deadline October 1 each year)


The Commander William Overby Scholarship – $750.00

This scholarship was established by past cadets and friend of Commander Overby to commemorate his 20+ years of service at the academy. To apply for the scholarship, please send a minimum 200-word essay answering the following question:

What does it mean when a law enforcement officer has integrity?

Please include an introduction paragraph with details about yourself and any hardships/obstacles you have experienced on your path to attend the academy?
