Basic Education for Adults
Follow these steps to enroll in Basic Education for Adults (BEdA) classes.

High School+, English Language Acquisition Classes and GED
If you are interested in High School+, English Language Acquisition Classes and GED in English or Spanish, follow these steps:
Step 1: Apply
Apply through the Online Admissions Application Portal (OAAP).
Step 2: Activating Student ctcLink Account
Student must activate their student ctcLink account prior to enrollment. Click here for visual guides.
Step 3: Establish Placement
Sign up and complete a CASAS assessment test to determine your starting point. Not required for students only taking GED in Spanish Classes.
Step 4: Attend Cardinal Take-Off
New students are required to attend an in-person or remote group advising session, Cardinal Take Off (CTO), where they will meet with an Advisor and enroll for courses!

Students interested in participating in Skagit Valley College’s Open Doors Program must submit an additional application.
